President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by the chairman of the Supreme Court of Cassation of Bulgaria, Lazar Gruev.
Stressing that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria were developing successfully in all areas, including the economic and energy cooperation, the President of Azerbaijan said there were good prospects for a continued expansion of these relations. President Aliyev stressed the importance of reciprocal high-level visits to the expansion of these ties. The head of state praised the cooperation between the two countries within the European Union, NATO and other international organizations. President Ilham Aliyev said the visit of the chairman of the Supreme Court of Cassation of the Republic of Bulgaria, Lazar Gruev, to Azerbaijan was a good opportunity to discuss prospects for cooperation in the field of the judiciary with Azerbaijani colleagues.
The chairman of the Supreme Court of Cassation of the Republic of Bulgaria, Lazar Gruev, noted with satisfaction that bilateral relations between the two countries were rapidly developing in recent years, including the economic cooperation.
He pointed to the good opportunities for developing cooperation between the judicial systems of Bulgaria and Azerbaijan and expressed his confidence of a further expansion of this interaction.
