Ilham Aliyev received the Honorary President of the Russian Olympic Committee and the President of the European Shooting Confederation

President Ilham Aliyev received Honorary President of the Olympic Committee of the Russian Federation and member of the International Olympic Committee, Vitaliy Smirnov, and President of the European Shooting Confederation, Vladimir Lisin.

The parties touched upon Azerbaijan’s sports successes and spoke about the work Azerbaijan had done to expand international cooperation in sports.

It was noted that Azerbaijan was regularly hosting prestigious international sports events and that such events were organized at a high level.

The sides mentioned that Azerbaijan was taking an active part in the international Olympic movement and highlighted the importance of successes attained in this sphere.
