Ilham Aliyev received Kazakhstan’s permanent representative to UNESCO, poet and writer Olzhas Suleimenov

President Ilham Aliyev has received Kazakhstan’s permanent representative to UNESCO, poet and writer Olzhas Suleimenov.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev congratulated Olzhas Suleimenov on his 75th birth anniversary and wished him every success in his creative work and a good health. Stressing that the people of Azerbaijan loved Olzhas Suleimenov and appreciated his creative works, President Ilham Aliyev said that Suleimenov had always expressed his position in an explicit and principled manner, protecting the interests of the Kazakh people. The head of state emphasized that the people of Azerbaijan would never forget Olzhas Suleimenov demonstrating a resolute position and standing by Azerbaijan in difficult times when our people experienced the 20 January tragedy. President Ilham Aliyev appreciated the fact that Olzhas Suleimenov, as a permanent representative of Kazakhstan to UNESCO and a public figure, was sincerely rejoicing at Azerbaijan’s success and development today. President Ilham Aliyev presented Olzhas Suleimenov with a high state award, the Dostlug Order, for his contribution to the promotion of Azerbaijani culture internationally.

Kazakhstan’s permanent representative to UNESCO, poet and writer Olzhas Suleimenov thanked President Ilham Aliyev for decorating him with a high award of the Azerbaijani state and described this as an illustration of his attitude towards Azerbaijan. He said the processes of rapid development he has been witnessing during visits to our country, including the significant strides made in the development of culture, were very gratifying. Olzhas Suleimenov said he was pleased that the people of Azerbaijan were succeeding and sharing their joy with the rest of the world. Olzhas Suleimenov expressed his confidence that the policies conducted by the Azerbaijani President would continue bringing prosperity to our country and people.
