The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, along with other heads of state who participated in the 5th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, had the opportunity to tour the EXPO Central Asia 2023 in Dushanbe.
This exhibition, which has been organized with the support of the government of Tajikistan, showcases prominent companies and their respective products. The primary objective behind this exhibition is to introduce the products of various manufacturing companies while simultaneously strengthening trade cooperation among the nations of Central Asia.
Within the pavilions representing Central Asian countries, visitors can explore a diverse array of offerings encompassing light industry and cocoon production, innovative hydropower equipment, household appliances, as well as an assortment of meat products, dairy items, dried fruits, canned goods, soft beverages, and various other merchandise.
The exhibition also presented a wide range of vehicles, including cars, passenger and cargo vehicles, military defense vehicles, and agricultural equipment from Central Asian countries in the open exhibition area. Additionally, the exhibition highlighted the achievements and activities of both the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea and the World Health Organization.
Furthermore, the exhibition served as an informative platform to elucidate the historical trade routes of the Silk Road and the various epochs of Tajik artisanal activities. A dedicated section showcased the hydropower resources of Tajikistan.
Subsequently, the heads of state visited an exhibition showcasing industrial products from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan. It was duly acknowledged that the organization of such a substantial regional exhibition plays a pivotal role in expanding trade cooperation, fostering the growth of production facilities and enterprises, and increasing the diversity and volume of industrial products within the participating countries.
